The Yellows Of My Life

My Yellow Labradors. The Trio that greets me everyday with unconditional love and unlimited amount of energy.

Georgina also known as "Piggy". She's a sweetheart.

 Borris also known as "Boar". He's a goofball.

 Kimmie also known as "Kimmie-Lou". She's a sunshine.

For those planning to have a Labrador, I suggest that you think it over. Make sure that you can commit to the needs of this particular breed. It's no joke to take care of big dogs-Labradors require much space to run around (please don't cage them); they eat like there is no tomorrow (sacks and sacks of premium dog food), they need to be around people (do you have time to be with them?) and they need to get daily exercise (do you have time to 'walk' them everyday?). 


They each have their unique character going on; and like a mom, I could endlessly talk about each one of them. Their unconditional love and happy disposition brightens my day. They also remind me to sometimes just slow down from work/worries/tasks.. and instead take time to enjoy life and play.


I love them.

Long Distance Relationship.

G is in Sofia; while I am here in Manila.

We'll be together soon.

1 month, 1 day, 10 hours and 57 minutes to go (yes, it gets crazy like that..)

As the day gets closer, the longing gets crazier. 
I terribly miss him.
If bestfriend Y is here in Manila, I'm sure we would have gone somewhere in Makati to sing our hearts out (videoke)... Or go to Barcino and drink our livers out. (but since diet mode, I'll opt for a calorie-less approach).

Autumn

Once in a while G would remind me on how fascinated he is with his country's 4 seasons.

I think that this will be one of his reasons on why he would opt for us to stay in BG, when we come to the point of deciding where to initially live together.

Living in a tropical country, my 'seasons' would just be 

• Dry season (summer + glaring sun)
• Wet season (rains and thunderstorms + flood).

So whenever he tells me more about his country's 4 seasons, I feel dreamy too. 

My imagination revolves around my snowman with a carrot nose (winter), my pink, red and yellow tulips (spring), G raking the dried leaves off our garden (hihi, autumn) and SunnyBeach/Black Sea/Nessebar (summer). 

I'm excited to experience my four seasons with him.

He showed me this picture of a leaf. My imagination suddenly goes autumn...

Time to stay calm and reflect...

Compassion And Responsibility for Animals (CARA)

I had Samuel neutered last August 20, 2011 at CARA's clinic in Malate.
I think pet owners should research more on the benefits of neutering their cats/dogs. 
I feel good knowing that Samuel is healthier and that he won't add on the population of homeless kittens. It was a good decision.


The clinic in Malate was very clean; people were very friendly too.

Connecting my dots....

Trust and Faith in God.

Finally I know what I want, what's important & what I want to do in my life- where my heart belongs. It's an amazing feeling of self-realization. No input from anybody and no endless analysis. Just on my own. Reflection, Silence & Faith.

Having this direction motivates me. A certain calmness. A boost of confidence that I cannot fully explain. Despite occasional chaos and challenges, I can honestly say that I'm not restless anymore. I piece everything together up to this very moment. No regrets. No frustrations. Only acceptance, renewed energy and faith that every situation molded me to be who I am today. No pointing fingers, No hiding behind life's circumstances (and using it as a reason not to reach my goals).

This is a turning point, a clearer vision, a wiser outlook, a more compassionate heart. Finally, I know where I am heading. Exciting!
