- I am having major PMS (I haven't felt this in a looong time...).
- I feel guilty for throwing it out on G. (Ohh lovey..I'm sorry).
- I'm really amazed on how he can remain so patient and gentle with me. (Ohhh, I love him).
I think the ad effectively relays a clear message that:
1) Women tend to be horrible during those days.
2) Milk can ease PMS (I stay away from dairy, so I'm clueless on this).

Yep, milk contains calcium and magnesium which have been found to be helpful in treating PMS symptoms. :)

Hi Bee, thanks for that info.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh, I have been loading on caffeine.. hihi. Next month, I have to make a mental-note on the must-avoid stuff to prevent a major PMS outbreak.hehe
ugh, PSM-ing right now but can't have milk coz I'm lactose intolerant :(
ReplyDelete^ugh, I feel for you :(
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that milk can treat the symptoms of PMS.That's a new info for me =)
ReplyDeleteHormonal imbalance also causes PMS. If that's the cause, foods rich in phytoestrogens are highly recommended. Examples of these are apples, corn, and green leafy vegetable as well.
Like cow's milk, soymilk can also treat PMS/hormonal imbalance. But the good thing here is that, only few people are allergic to soy. So I guess that's one good alternative that Janelle should consider.
I learned these things from Hannah Villasis' blog entry:

hope this helps:)
